English: The trip started early, about 6 am in the morning. It takes about 30 mins to get to the pier. This trip was join by one of my best friend Steve Han and his cousin. Also my coach David Whelan and his son and my dad. We arrived at the pier just before 6.30am. Target fish on this trip is Spanish Mackerel. at about 6.50am, 5 of our rod are in the water. About 10 mins later Penn Steve hooked this catfish with his Penn, It didnt give him a great fight but it was a great warm up. It was his first fish here on the pier (Congratulation Steve!)

English: Here is the one we want!...Steve hooked this fish about 30 mins after his catfish but about 10 mins before this fish...Steve hooked on a train going down the track...It took almost all of his line out from his Penn 4400 and we saw that there is no way we will be able to get this fish...the line had to be cut...We werent sure what it was but I think it was either a shark or a tarpon (Very common here) Well...it actually prepared him for this one...Good one Steve...

English: David with a little Pin fish...his 1st fish of this trip...and 1st time fishing saltwater...Congratulation Dave...There is more of Dave just below...

English: DAVE! What is that!?...He had a great fight with this fish and he deserve it...my Penn 975LD scream and the line was going out...I got it out of the rod holder and pass it on to Dave...He gave this fish a fight and the fish also gave him a fight...but at the Dave was victorious over spanish mackerel...congratulation DAVE!...You're the man!
