A favorite reel among top pros, the Abu Garcia® Revo® STX is an industry standard. Outdoing this reel seemed like an impossible feat, but there is a new staple for amateur and elite anglers to enjoy. The new Revo STX offers anglers superior casting, control and precision in a reel that weights 29 percent less than the previous version.

The STX is built around an X2-Cräftic™ alloy frame and C6 carbon sideplates, giving anglers a much lighter weight reel that weighs only 183 grams. For more efficient cranking power the Revo STX employs a new improved D2 Gear Design™.

Ten stainless steel HPCR® (High Speed Corrosion Resistant) bearings plus 1 roller bearing, Infini™ brake system, Infini II™ spool design, recessed foot, compact bent star and carbon handle with flat EVA knobs and a Titanium coated line guide add to the reels appeal and performance. The 6.4:1 gear ratio model retrieves 65cm  per crank.
