The MR-X CYCLONE is a mid-range crank bait designed to fish in and around hard cover areas. Like many of our hard baits, the CYCLONE series was conceived in order to redefine and expand the accepted role and territory of hard baits, in order to extend the bite when others might switch to soft plastics. Unlike ordinary crank baits, the CYCLONE series features a fixed tungsten balancer in front, and a fixed, flat tungsten balancer along the base of the tail section, allowing the bait to contact hard cover without getting easily snagged. This balancer system also produces a high-pitch wobble & roll action, while remaining whisper quiet, allowing it to approach those elusive big fish hiding in cover without alarming them.
