Frank James Edgar (born October 16, 1981) is an American mixed martial artist. He is the current UFC Lightweight Champion. His first and only career loss came against Gray Maynard in 2008, which marked the beginning of a noted rivalry. He is currently ranked as the #1 lightweight fighter in the world by Sherdog.com.[1]
