During my fishing moment, I used to be a man with logo once. When the time passed by, the incident has turned me to be a man without logo at the end. I feel thankful to such incident letting me see the world wider than the limitation of such logo provided. While, many times I almost forget myself who I really am, but after no logo, I am proud to be myself by having fishing life freely with no limit of happiness.
One day lately, the opportunity came to scratch my leg, and was resulted me to go and learn experience abroad with the support of T.R.Y Fishing Tackle Co., Ltd. We then became one of the fishing participants at Malaysia in the name of Ryoko Team to participate in the Billfish International Challenge 2013. How the story will be, allow me to Share & Learn such experience with you guys in the style of fishing, travelling, eating and drinking in the meantime.
Many of my foreigner fishing folks, who knew I joined this tournament, allow me to Share this with them by which I provide the English translation quoted in parallel with Thai. Then, my fishing folks can Share & Learn with our SFC folks together. Thanks Nong Nom (login) for giving me the headline. Anyone would also like to share their photo, share their own experience, you are welcome, with all due respect.
Our journey was started by Mr. Thirayut drove his truck from Rayong Province at 2am of September 13, 2013 and picked up Mr. Yeang and Na Nuan (login) at BKK heading to Don Muang Airport. For me, I was at my BKK home since the day before, so that I had a bit more sleeping hours than him. However, we met at our appointment around 5am at Don Muang Airport with the wet and cool weather as shown in this photo.
Mr. Yeang has a bit obstruction on the immigration protocol clearance, while the rest of us went through. What we have to do next was to wait for the departure time heading to Singapore.
From Don Muang Airport reached to Changi Airport, we gotta move forward to Malaysia. But, why Na Nuan surrendered once he saw Singapores policeman there.
At late morning, Singapores time, we started to move further to Malaysia. Lesson learnt at that moment was that do never forget your own gears belongings before you make your further move, unless, youll have to live with an incoming problem.
We departed from Singapore to Johor Bahru, Malaysia for lunch and buying domestic tele service. I was sitting in the van while waiting for that. What I could do best is to capture the life around there through my lens for your view.
Right after we have brought things, then we were ready to move onward from Johor Bahur to Rompin town at Pahang State. It takes probably almost 3 hours from here to there.
After a several times calling to the organizer asking the direction to the hotel, well finally, we have managed to see the fishing tournament signboard. Now, weve made it anyway.
After the whole processes of issuing participants card, here this is my card. Our team is the 5th team, and my card number was issued as per the date, Friday 13th (Sep 2013).
Sponsors of this tournament provided the identical shirt to all participants for wearing on Day 1 with some gears in this set beg. It can be seen in the following pictures that every participants were wearing the yellow shirt in the first day of the tournament, while the Day 2 each team is freely to ware to own.
Due to our team have to resolve problem of our lesson learnt from incomplete checking the luggage before leaving Singapore to Malaysia, we was then late to attend this briefing. The brief has already begun once we were there. But, coming late is better than never.
Participants paid their fully attention to the rules of this tournament. Behind myself, there was another group of audiences, i.e., boatman and marshall.
